Using Castile Soap is the best and safest way to deep clean your makeup brushes. You can still buy makeup brush shampoos but honestly you will be wasting your money. This soap is safe yet very strong, you get a lot for your money, and it has many other uses . It will clean all the oils and makeup residue left behind on your brushes.

Here’s how to use it. Fill your sink with warm water.

Drop about 5-10 drops of soap depending on how much water you add.

Use the side of the sink or the palm of your hand to get the makeup out.

Change Is As Good As A Holiday… My New Hair Style, Some Tips On How To Care For It And The Latest Fashion Hair Colour Trends For 2015

Caffeine and Fairydust

If there is one thing I really love, it’s getting my hair done.

My hair has changed more than I can keep track of… I’ve had platinum blonde hair, long hair, short hair, purple hair, violet hair, green hair, red hair, black hair, pink hair, ginger hair, ombre hair, bronde hair, a mohawk, you name it…

It is such a fun way of reinventing yourself. I asked Mel from Hair Mobile to come over to my home and do something fun with my hair… yeah you read right, she comes to you. It works great for me as I have a little baby and it is such a mission to organize a babysitter and pack his stuff.

We decided on trying something new – Blue/Tealish and brown ombre… I love it! I just cannot take a photo that properly represents how awesome the colours are! Anyway, you are just going…

Drugstore Haul!

A Life and Style Guide

On a whim I decided to do a drug store haul. I had to buy my fiance a birthday card and decided to get some other products while there. I got a great deal on some of the items I’ve been dying to try!

image

Thankfully Revlon and Maybelline were having sales, plus my CVS card gave me a bunch of savings!

image

The first item I picked up was the Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain in the color Honey priced at $9.29. This has a minty taste/smell to it. The texture is nice and it does give my lips a soft feeling. I love a hint of color and this balm stain does just that. Definitely worth it.

The next item was Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the color Iced Amethyst priced at $8.99. This color is really very pretty. I would wear this on a date night with my fiance…

And wearing no concealer can draw attention to your dark circles, and make you look like you haven’t slept for 20 years.

Before purchasing Rimmel Wake Me Up, I had been using the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer for under my eyes. I did, and still do really love Lasting Perfection, because it lightens the under eyes, making them look brighter, and it’s really easy to apply – but I found it can be a little bit cakey, so I thought I’d try something else.

Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer

Wake Me Up claims to have an ‘”Anti-fatigue effect and radiant glow”, and says that it “visibly reawakens and illuminates the under eyes” – I have to say that…
